Establish a higher level of machine safety in your workplace with the SensaGuard 440N RFID non-contact safety switch, with plastic housing, 24 V dc, by Allen Bradley Guardmaster. This highly reliable switch is designed for installation on safety guards and gates and prevents personnel from accessing unsafe areas by instantly cutting the supply power to machinery when the barrier is opened. It is well suited for applications such as hinge, sliding, and lift-off machine guard doors.

The 440N-Z21SS2HN switch is a cost-effective solution which features the latest generation of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology for coding and inductive technology for sensing, making it highly resistant to tampering. It also has a large sensing range and tolerance to door misalignment to optimise safety guard stability and security. LED indication on the switch offers fast diagnostics for switch status, fault finding, and margin alignment, which minimises downtime. It has short circuit and over voltage protection, allowing the switch to be reset. SensaGuard switches can be connected in series with other devices such as light curtains, E-stops, and key interlock switches. They have an IP69K environmental rating, making them ideally suited for wet environments and a wide variety of industrial safety applications, as they can withstand powerful water jets and are dust-tight.

The 440N series allows immediate opening of the guard door as there is no physical contact required with the actuator, and risk of debris contamination is also reduced. This switch is designed for easy mounting on aluminium profile and has simple setup and alignment to help decrease installation costs.
